| 概要 | 気球は、人工衛星、ロケット、航空機に並ぶ重要な飛翔体であり、それらと比較すると格段に低コスト（1/10～1/1000）であることや、小型の気球であれば船上など様々な場所で実験可能な高い機動性を有することが特徴である。気象庁による定常的なラジオゾンデ観測から、成層圏大気のサンプリング、1トンクラスの観測装置による宇宙線や惑星の観測まで、気球観測は様々な用途・目的で実施されている。一方で、長期間（1か月以上）飛翔可能なスーパープレッシャー気球や通信量を飛躍的に増大させる可能性のある衛星コンステレーションNWなどが実用化され、これまで実現できなかった新たな気球観測の可能性が広がりつつある。そこで、最新の気球観測やその飛翔機会、および関連する機器開発の状況等を紹介・共有し、新たな気球観測の可能性を探る場として本特別セッションを開催する。 |
