Discount for Members of the journal "Earth, Planets and Space" (EPS)

EPS is co-published by five societies: SGEPSS, the Seismological Society of Japan, the Volcanological Society of Japan, the Geodetic Society of Japan, and the Japanese Society for Planetary Sciences. When a corresponding author is a SGEPSS member at the point of submission, the article processing charge (APC) discount is applied. Note that there is no charge for submission to Frontier Letter . Below is how to apply the member discount for submissions in categories other than Frontier Letter. In order to apply the member discount, the following procedures must be followed.

How to apply for a member discount
(!) When you submit a paper, select the first option: "I accept responsibility for paying the £935/US$1,475/€1,200 processing charge on this article or believe that I am covered by a Springer Nature Open Access agreement" in APC Agreement page, and click "Confirm".
(2) After acceptance, you will receive an email that will prompt you to complete the procedures for publication of your paper. Please follow the link to complete the procedure. When you are prompted to select a journal partner, select "Earth, Planets and Space member" and enter your society name (Society of Geomagnetism and Earth, Planetary and Space Sciences) and your membership number.
*The discount submission code previously entered at the time of submission will be discontinued in 2023.
